Teachers introduction letter to parents

| November 27, 2012 | 0 Comments

Teacher’s introduction letter to parents. Teachers write Introduction Letters at the beginning of every school year giving some background information to the parents/guardians about themselves. As an intern, having to write an introduction letter to parents/guardians, illustrates the importance attached to informing the parents/guardians about who is involved in their child’s life at school and who will be working with their child. It also gave me some experience in communicating with the parents/guardians. No parent/guardian would want a stranger around his or her child.

introduction letter to parents from teacher sample:

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my self. My name is Victor Anderson, and I am a Senior at the University of North Florida. I am studying Elementary Education and will be graduating with my Bachelors Degree in December. As an intern, I am very excited about putting all i have learned to use and becoming an active participant in your child’s classroom.

It is a pleasure to be placed at Greenland Pines Elementary School for my Internship experience. I am looking forward to working under mentorship of Mrs. Brody and will uphold her high standards.

I am going to spend my first week getting familiar with the daily routines of the class as well as getting to know your child. All of the students have their own unique gifts and talents and I have some ideas that I hope to bring into the classroom. It is my hope that the students benefit from this experience as much as i will.

While this letter is only a brief introduction, I hope that each of you will feel comfortable with my role in your child’s class. if you have questions at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope i will have the opportunity to meet you over the next several months.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by email: victoranderson@ymail.com or via telephone 813-766-9314

Sincerely,

(signature)

Victor Anderson
